    Soft cotton cord is cut, knotted and brushed out by hand into flowing hair, full skirts and fringed wings.

Our story

Inspired by two little girls

Mili Handmade Creations started at the kitchen table, making macramé dolls with a spool of cotton cord, a few wooden beads and two little girls who wanted dolls that looked just like them. Those first dolls became the heart of our logo, and of everything we make.

Today every piece is still knotted, combed and finished by hand, one at a time. They aren't mass-produced toys. They're small keepsakes meant to hang in a nursery, sit on a shelf and get passed down.

What are the dolls made of?

Soft single-twist cotton macramé cord, natural wooden beads and hearts, beech-wood hoops, paper flowers and gold cord halos. Faces are painted by hand.

Can the dolls match my family's hair and dress colors?

Yes. Every custom order starts with your family: tell us hair colors, dress colors and how many little ones, and we'll design the dolls to match.

Can you make a memorial angel in memory of a loved one?

Yes. Many people give our macramé angel in memory of someone they love. Tell us about them in your request and we'll talk through colors and details.

How long does a custom order take?

Most pieces are made to order. We'll confirm a timeline when we reply to your request. If you need it for a birthday, shower or holiday, include the date.

Are they safe for babies to play with?

They're decorative keepsakes, made to hang or sit on display. They include small beads and loose fibers, so please keep them out of reach of little hands and mouths.

How do I care for my piece?

Keep it dry and out of strong direct sun. A gentle comb with your fingers will fluff the hair and skirt back up, and a cool hair dryer will dust it off.
